Description of 2009 SEC Championship Game DVD

December 5, 2009 Atlanta, Georgia. The 2009 Southeastern Conference Championship goes down in history as the first title game to match undefeated teams against one another. The last time The University of Alabama earned a conference title was in 199, but the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide stood before the No. 1 Florida Gators a decade later dertermined to end the droyght. Sophomore running back Mark Ingram rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns, ushering the Crimson Tide into the BCS National Championship game. Overall, the Tide amassed 490 yards os total offrnse against the Gator defense. Jonior quarterback Greg McElroy, who threw for 239 yards and a touchdown on 12 completions, was named the game's Most Valuable Player. With a final score of 32-13, the Crimson Tide took home the SEC Championship after fighting a balanced gridiron battle in front of a crowd of 75,514 in the Georgia Dome. Alabama has now won an SEC title in every decade since winning the Conference's first championship title in 1933 and boasts 22 Conference championships - the most in the SEC.
