The University of Louisville closed out its regular season and 54 year history in Freedom Hall with a 78-68 victory over then top ranked Syracuse on March 6, 2010. Sophomore forward Kyle Kuric scored a career high 22 points -- all in the second half -- to lead the Cardinals, while connecting on 9-of-11 field goals (4-of-6 three pointers, four dunks). The senior day crowd of 20,135 was a record for the facility, which has been the site of six NCAA Final Fours. Members of the Cardinals' 1980 and 1986 NCAA Championship teams and seven additional U of L All-Americas were honored at halftime of the game.
