Led by legendary coach, Pat Summit, and the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, Candace Parker, the Lady Vols became the first team to claim back-to-back championships since 2002-2004. This year’s title was the eighth in school history, each under the direction of Coach Summit. After the victory, Summit proclaimed "Number eight, it’s all about this team - I’ve been very blessed with this team." The official 2008 NCAA Women’s Final Four Championship DVD includes the commercial-free championship game broadcast, both semifinal game broadcasts, full tournament recap and special bonus features.
